Drug Abuse and Addiction
The National Institute on Drug Abuse provides a series of easy to read reports on drug abuse and addiction. Topics include cocaine, heroin, inhalants, methamphetamines, nicotine and (new for 2000) anabolic steroids. In an effort to reduce crime, some people advocate the legalization of drugs. Write an essay on your thoughts either in support of or against drug legalization. Use at least 3 other reliable sources of information, and cite your sources in your paper.
